Dr. Filosa is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Virginia. This author earned a Doctorate of Psychology Degree in Clinical Psychology, with distinction, from the Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology (College of William and Mary, Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University with high academic honors. Dr. Filosa has been in clinical practice for over 25 years and in independent private practice for 20 years. Areas of psychotherapy specialization include hypnosis, family issues, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, Stress Related/Chronic Illness, Grief Resolution, and Abuse Issues. This author has developed a whole new form of psychotherapy called Shattered Analysis, which is a powerful and effective path of healing. This clinical model integrates theology, spirituality and philosophy in healing past wounds. Dr. Filosa applies this model in individual and self-care groups.
