TAVIAN REID is a teenager, a son, and a writer. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, but has lived in Hampton, VA mostly all his life. He's currently in Pre-Calculus in the 10th grade. He was in the National Junior Honor Society in middle school. Along with his academic achievements, he has been making AB Honor Roll ever since elementary school. Tavian started taking a creative writing class when he decided to write a book. He wanted to improve his creative writing skills because he rarely read books. It's weird because when he was younger, he always liked the cover of the books. But he really didn't want to read them. Finally, when he entered High School, he began reading various books. He wanted to improve his vocabulary and his imagery for his books.
