Steven J. Robinson has an MA in English literature, a BSc in geology, and a PhD in geochemistry. Published works include a translation of the satires of the Latin poet Juvenal. Most significantly, he is the pioneer of a new understanding of Earth history called "recolonization," which shows that apart from its different timescale the Genesis tradition accords well with current geological knowledge (www.earthhistory.org.uk).
