I began my international travels at the age of 12. Since then, I've explored 34 countries spanning from Alaska to Australia. In addition to walking the last section of the Portuguese Camino to earn my Compostela, I have made pilgrimages to numerous sacred sites around the world. My outward travels have often mirrored the inward journey of my soul, becoming a catalyst for my growth. Sadly, my mother died at age 49 due to the effects of extreme fasting, motivated by an unhealthy expression of spirituality. Since then, I've dedicated my life to discerning the signs of healthy or abusive expressions of faith. I integrate my Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Religious Studies, a Master's Degree in Pastoral Ministry, a Certificate in Recognizing and Healing the Wounds of Spiritual Abuse and Religious Trauma, and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction to provide spiritual support for those on pilgrimage journeys.
