Leaving Jersey to return to England when he was seventeen, he worked in sales and marketing before successfully starting his own businesses.

Then, on retiring, this gave him time to weigh up other options, and as they say, there's a book in everyone. On retiring, he began to write novels, and continues to put words to paper from his new home overlooking the hills in Swanage. Dorset.
