Maggie P. Chang is the author-illustrator of the Geraldine Pu books, the acclaimed graphic novel series for early readers. She lives in a buttercream cottage in sunny Southern California with her husband, kids, and their dog Benihana--the real-life inspiration behind Benny the mini bernedoodle. When she's not making books, she's usually exploring nature or museums with her family. She also loves dreaming about their next trip to Taiwan (boba, anyone?!). No mythical creatures have shown up at the cottage yet... as far as she knows.
