Brenda was born and raised in the mining town of Grants, New Mexico, where faith, family and community shaped her earliest stories. A lifelong lover of dance and imagination, she built a career teaching dance and fitness in her hometown-choreographing not just movement, but moments of joy, healing, and theatrical flair.Creative writing was always her passion, so it was a class she eagerly signed up for in both high school and college. Over the years, storytelling became a natural extension of her artistry, blending the emotional depth of her faith with the expressive rhythm of dance. To this day, her vivid imagination and love for theatrical choreography continue to inspire her fiction, which often centers on themes of comfort, resilience, and spiritual renewal. After raising a family alongside her devoted husband and watching their children grow into lives of their own, Brenda felt a deep pull toward Oklahoma, her mother's home state. What began as a journey of exploration soon became a heartfelt homecoming. Today, she writes from Oklahoma, staying in touch with lifelong friends as well meeting new ones and weaving countless stories that reflect the grace-filled steps of a life well lived.
