Dr. Jim Horn is an ordained pastor who has written and then preached
full manuscripts of sermons for over 50 years, week after week. His
preaching is very well received by his congregations. He earned his
Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and
his Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary in 1993.
When his dissertation was finished, his wife was diagnosed with cancer.
He knows what the Kingdom of God will be like: God will wipe every
tear from our eyes; there will be no more death, mourning, or crying or
pain. The Star Trek Universe had medical tricorders, advanced enough
to cure any injury or illness. He envisions a Science Fiction future in
which wars end, hunger and homelessness are eliminated, and the
mysteries of the universe are discovered. Jim is critical of dystopian,
apocalyptic Sci-Fi for its hopeless despair. He started writing. Dr. Horn
uses his scholarship of Biblical Greek and Hebrew texts to develop his
Sci-Fi plot twists. In Greek, the Apokalypsis means revealing what
God hid. It should not be confused with the Latin word apocalypse,
which, in Science Fiction literature and film, has come to denote global
destruction, doomsday, and the collapse of a dystopian world, followed
by the survival of a handful of survivors and the heroes who fall in love.
God has so much more for the future of humanity.
