The town of Wicklow does not appear on any map; Theo Feldin is going there anyway. His late wife's family has left him an estate sitting on two hundred acres of forest, and his cat Tabby has decided, for reasons all his own, to come along. Theo has come to Wicklow to claim the estate. He will end up claimed by the town itself: by a mystical groundskeeper named Sorcha, by an art-shop cat named Tomothy Schlopps, and by a circle of widows scheming to crown Wicklow the Widow Capital of the World. Some destinations cannot be mapped. Some, Theo will discover, cannot even be remembered.
