Michal A. Piegzik is a visiting professor at Yokohama National University with a PhD in Japanese private law. His research focuses on new technologies in family law. The Pacific War is his life's passion. He has published in Poland, Japan, the UK, and the Netherlands. His Gamble in the Coral Sea: Japan's Offensive, The Carrier Battle, and the Road to Midway was released by the Naval Institute Press in 2025.
