Jeff Tanner, holds a PhD in marketing, published fifteen books on sales and marketing (including two bestselling textbooks), and spent a career in higher education, retiring as dean of the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University. While at ODU, he wrote and hosted a daily business show on regional NPR. In addition to nonfiction, he's published short stories in several anthologies and several plays. He and his wife split time between Dayton, Ohio, and Virginia's Eastern Shore, sharing both homes with Boo, a four-pound Maltese. To add some excitement, they also own and race thoroughbreds when not chasing grandchildren.
