Fran Hollinrake studied Scottish History at St Andrews and Edinburgh, and worked as a tour guide and storyteller in Auld Reekie's Royal Mile for a decade. In Orkney, she has been working in and researching St Magnus Cathedral for over 15 years, giving talks and lectures, and writing blogs and articles in my capacity as Custodian and Curator. During that time she has become more and more fascinated with her country's magical beings, Scotland's saints. She also work as a storyteller in Orkney and beyond (on the Register of Scottish Storytellers since 2011) and is the main organiser of the annual Orkney Storytelling Festival.
