Ryan Calabretta-Sajder is the inaugural Professor Antonio Marinoni and Rosa Zagnoni Marinoni Endowed Chair of Italian and Director of International and Global Studies at the University of Arkansas where he is Affiliate Faculty in African and African American Studies, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, and Jewish Studies. He is author of Divergenze in celluloide: Colore, migrazione e identità nei film gay di Ferzan Özpetek; editor of Pasolini's Lasting Impressions: Death, Eros, and Literary Enterprise in the Opus of Pier Paolo Pasolini; and editor (with Alan J. Gravano) of Italian Americans on the Page: Revisiting the Classics and Exploring New Voices and Italian Americans on Screen: Challenging the Past, Re-Theorizing the Future. He is the current editor-in-chief of Diasporic Italy.

Alan J. Gravano is Assistant Professor and Writing Center Director at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and a scholar of Italian American literature, culture, and media. He held a Fulbright Lectureship in Italian American Studies at the University of Calabria and is a past president of the Italian American Studies Association. His recent publications include chapters in Italian Americans in Film and Other Media and The Neglected Works of Martin Scorsese. He is editor-in-chief of Italian Americana.
