Rue is a 12-year-old girl from a small seaside village who dreams of becoming a brave healer. One morning, she finds a mysterious wooden box on her doorstep containing an old compass engraved with her name and the message: "May this guide you to where you're needed most." When a pirate ship arrives carrying a suffering pirate named Bandana Jack-whose in a great deal of pain-Rue steps forward to help. Follow our brave pirate doctor as she sails the Sea of Whispers to find a remedy to help this marauder in need.
