Trish Deseine is originally from Northern Ireland and has been living in France for 35 years. Since being approached by Hachette to write her first cookbook, Petits Plats entre Amis, in 2001, her unabashed love of eating and cooking, with a penchant for chocolate, has made her one of France and Ireland's best loved food writers. She has published over 30 books in Engish and French which have won many awards, sold hundreds of thousands of copies and been translated into many languages. Trish has also presented several cookery series for BBC and RTE in Ireland, and has written for ELLE France, Le Fooding, The Guardian and The Irish Times. In 2010 she was named one of French Vogue's 50 Women of the decade. Trish currently lives in the beautiful Perche region of Normandy.
