Short Shadows (???? ?????) is a bilingual Arabic-English collection of AI-co-authored flash speculative narratives - the debut literary work of Egyptian-German multidisciplinary artist Sameh Al Tawil, published by Diwan Publishing (Cairo, 2025). It is simultaneously a book, a manifesto, and the core node of a larger transmedial art project - what the artist calls a "Living Art Ecosystem" - that spans text, AI-generated imagery, video, live algorithmic performances, and experimental music.
